Job Description

Job Level Details

-Develops, directs, and assists in the preparation of moderately complex computer solutions in the maintenance and modification of new and currently used programs.
-Develops new programs of basic to moderate complexity. Performs modeling, simulations, and analysis.
-Prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs. Documents all procedures.


Skill Requirements

- 4+ years of software configuration management experience is required.
- Build and deployment experience using any version control software (preferably Harvest and CVSNT) including experience with project concurrency and complex version-control branching models.
- 1+ years experience in building, deploying and integrating Java-based web applications in a Windows Environment is required, including exposure to Wensphere/J2EE architecture (especially BEA Web Logic), working as Build Leads with hands-on experience on Ant, in a commercial setting.
- 1+ years of experience working with BEA Web Logic Administration or Developer level experience.
- Ability to Analyze the design of client specific configuration needs for new and existing applications and translating those needs into tasks
- Excellent working knowledge in Unix/Solaris & AIX and Microsoft Windows based servers/applicatoins is required.
- Good Undersanding of various DBMS Oracle 10G, DB2 and SQLServer
- Must have knowledge/ experience with SQL and Shell scripting
- Knowledge of Encryption methodolgy is required
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot in a 3 tier J2EE application environment on Windows.
- Ability to mentor, have strong analytical, technical documentation, and excellent business communication skills are required.
- Must demonstrate solid understanding of SDLC and change control processes.
Desired Skills
- Experience in web-services integration using AXIS or XML Beans
- Experience with AntHillPro or any Build tools
- Experience with Perl scripting
- Demonstrated ability in communications (written & spoken) and problem resolution

Job Level Details

- Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
- Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.
- Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests.
- Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis.
- Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
- May act as project/team leader.
